Veterinarian
Dr. Hunter Rung grew up north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He earned an undergraduate degree, post-baccalaureate pre-med certificate, and a master’s degree in health science from Montana State University. Dr. Rung didn’t always know he wanted to be a vet but after several jobs that took him all over the country, he decided to pursue veterinary medicine. In 2018, Dr. Rung attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in Saint Kitts followed by Colorado State University for his clinical year of veterinary school. He knew the moment he drove into Livingston and walked into Sleeping Giant Animal Clinic that he was home.
Dr. Rung and his wife Kameron have four dogs: three English Pointers and a German Wirehair Pointer. They both enjoy the outdoor recreation opportunities that Montana has to offer and are happy to be part of the Livingston community.
